We are looking to hire an ambitious and self-driven Legal Advisor to join a highly successful and dynamic team in the financial sector.

Job Responsibilities

• Draft or improve agreements, contracts and other legal documents and ensure they are aligned with the relevant legislation.

• Provide expert and professional legal advice, guidance, and support to ensure that the legal and reputational risks faced are identified, reported and mitigated.

• Consulting and handling all corporate legal processes.

• Conduct legal research on various matters and proactively identify legal risks.

• Advise the Company on potential legal risks.

• Review any new applicable laws and regulations and advise how these are affecting the company’s operations.

• Implementation of the Internal Regulations and procedures of the Company

• Advise on employment labor law and other legal matters, involving head office as well as global offices.

• Providing guidance and training to staff and management on legal and other related matters

• Assisting with general and varied queries affecting the business

• Conduct periodic audits on matters relating to regulatory and employment frameworks.

• Carries out any further duties assigned by their line manager.

Job Requirements

• University Degree in Law

• Background in Corporate/Regulatory law and/or Litigation

• At least 3 years of proven experience in a similar position is a must.

• Relevant CySEC certificates will be considered an advantage.

• Financial services regulatory experience is an advantage.

• Experience reading and interpreting regulations, law and statutes.

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Problem solving skills, flexibility, and adaptability.

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Full proficiency in the English and Greek languages

• Ability to manage highly confidential and sensitive information.

• Excellent negotiation skills
